The 2026 conference theme was Future Forward: Navigating Change in Digital Mental Health. In a time of rapid technological shifts, evolving policy and regulatory landscapes, and the complex effects of AI and social media, we canme together to explore what’s next—highlighting both the opportunities and the real-world challenges of advancing accessible, equitable, and evidence-based digital mental health care.
This interdisciplinary conference brought together researchers, students, healthcare providers, payers, industry leaders, developers and innovators, patient advocates, regulatory organizations, and policy experts who shared cutting-edge research and practical lessons for shaping the future of the field. We were excited to host numerous in-person meetups and virtual networking opportunities, special events for students, and Ask Me Anything (AMA) Reddit-style sessions to connect participants directly with leading experts.

Share your work at the 2026 Society for Digital Mental Health Virtual Conference! Submit an abstract at the link below. You will be prompted to create a username and password in order to submit. Abstracts for submission are now CLOSED.
Submission Types
Flash talks (5 minutes each): While we welcome submissions on any topic tied to digital mental health, priority will be given to proposals showcasing innovative approaches in therapy, substance use, screening and diagnostics that address the needs of diverse, underserved, or low-income populations.
Posters: Submit a poster proposal on any topic related to digital mental health.
